Psychesicarri

        ("Soul Daggers")

        “Have no fear, brother...
For although my arguments are pointed and weighty, my daggers have become dull from disuse.”

- Propater Magesty,
Neuroassassin for the Psychesicarri

"The ultimate weakness of violence is that it is a descending spiral, begetting the very thing it seeks to destroy. Instead of diminishing evil, it multiplies it. Through violence you may murder the liar, but you cannot murder the lie, nor establish the truth. Through violence you may murder the hater, but you do not murder hate. In fact violence merely increases hate. So it goes. Returning violence for violence multiplies violence, adding deeper darkness to a night already devoid of stars. Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that."

- Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.,

The Homepage for the Muqarribun Imamate's infamous Psychesicarri

The Ahd al-Jann believe that the creation of language marked the end of the chaotic magesty of the old Djinn Kingdom. Words are understood to be the unrecognized foundation of the material universe and, given the proper attention and study, will provide the potential soul dagger the keys to unlocking its full power and affecting its endless ebb and flow. The subtle yet potent magical techniques of the neuroassassins are refered to by those within the Ahd al-Jann as Logomancy, and is said to have been handed down to mankind by the fallen angels themselves, who had hoped to find among us willing advocates in their desperate war with heaven.

Read on to begin your unending study of the angelic art of martial sophistry.

"The highest function of ecology is understanding consequences."

Frank Herbert, Dune

As you are reading this, I would like you to be aware that you are receiving an abandoned communication that has waited dorment on this page for you, the recipient, to inevitably arrive and "bring it to life." As you read, and hopefully understand, each word on this page, you are being exposed to something completely intangible and beyond the merely visible form of these letters, a preconcieved intention, a willed force that you must react to in some way, because, you should know, everything you can feel, think, or do counts as a response. One cannot not respond. Even your very understanding, or lack thereof, of what this text is saying is a response.

The point is that anything a person says or does, regardless of his or her personal intention, is transformed by whoever receives the "communication" into the final and ultimately "true" form by which this intention must be judged. This transformation of original meaning is the most basic level of the "unaviodable response" that was just mentioned above and must be understood thoroughly if you are to have any value to the Psychesicarri.

Put yet another way, the actual nature of a thing, "what it is," changes dramatically depending upon the manner in which it is communicated. This become even more true in the case of things which do not denote a physical object of which the senses can make an appraisal. Take, for example, the Apocalypse, an event that is dreaded, desired, or dismissed by various people solely depending on what inffered meanings they may have previously attached to this word. Many, and sadly this has included a few rather tactless servants of extradimensional forces within the Ahd al Jann, have fixated on their own ideas of the significance of the Apocalypse, as well as countless other concepts, and, historically, have completely excluded any understanding of the perceptions of others when attempting to communicate their rather awkward passion for these ideas. Please, don't do this.

So, Psychesacarri Lesson #1: Know your own mind, and know the Mind you would change, and you will know what language you are actually speaking. The real trick is to relate to a person before you try and relate an idea, because otherwise you have no clue what you might be saying. How, you may ask, can this be accomplished when, like now, the reader is invisible and provides no feedback by which one can monitor their reception? Experience. In time you can place the world in your heart and you may never utter a sound that doesn't show signs of that wisdom, but without it, your sophistry is dead and no one but the heartless will respond to you.
